print(“Hello, World!”)
My name is Renée. I am a researcher at the Yale University Digital Ethics Center. I have a BSc. in Human Biology, Ethics, and Analytic Philosophy from The University of Toronto (Bleed Blue) and a Master’s in Health Policy and Public Health Modelling from Yale (Boola Boola).
You, I, and AI is my attempt at making sense of the digital (and real) world in which I have found myself. At its core, UI&AI is a catalogue of my main interests: life, death, and robots.
There are three segments published on this page:
Letters from the Tower. Philosophical, conceptual, and theoretical stuff. Tower is released on Sundays.
Letters from the Trenches. Applications, innovations, and stuff from “on the ground.” Trenches is released on Mondays.
Lunch Rush. Stream-of-consciousness musings about other stuff. Life, death, happiness, literature, art, food, the self, etc. Lunch Rush is released whenever I have a thought worth sharing while I eat my lunch—assuming I don’t need both hands to do so.
